Welcome to Odd’s Song of the day. For the past month I had been posting videos of facebook for the songs I wake up with in my head. Usually I have a radio dial spinning in my head, every morning I open my eyes and a few lyrics or chords float through my waking mind. That song becomes the song of the day!
Today’s song of the day is by Drafi Deustcher and it called Monkey Bump. I first heard it ages ago on a IRC based podcast. It was a favorite of theirs and at least once a show it was requested and played. If you just kind of tune it out and let it be background noise, it’s a cute bubbley little happy song. If you listen to the words and pay attention, it becomes a rather dirty little song.
