So a few days ago it was brought to my attention through a friend that there was an interesting flub via CBS. I wasn’t just this one affiliate in Arizona, it happened nation wide on multiple affiliates.
On October 19th at roughly 3:30pm CBS ran a ticker across the bottom of the screen announcing that Barack Obama had won the Nov 6th, 2012 election with 43% of the vote beating Romney who had 40%.
Now, some may say this was just a technical flub, but there are a few of us who think it more like a quick slip to show what really goes on. For years now, myself and others have suspected that the voting system was rigged and the candidate was decided long before you ever reach the polls.
Think about it. You’re not voting for the person, you’re voting for the electors of that person. They claim that it’s that way to keep it fair and balanced or to make it easier to tally the votes. Yet, even when I was younger I found this a strange practice since they still count each individual vote. The most damning piece of evidence to this being true was the Bush/Gore presidential vote where it seemed Bush lost and then all of a sudden he had won.
This is something that is hinted at through out most political discussions, but it’s never given much credence thanks to the “conspiracy nut” label. Admittedly there are things that I find it hard to believe they are real. That doesn’t make them false, but it makes it purposely difficult to clearly cut out the truth from the bullshit.
I was speaking with a friend today that I am unsure if all these bad things are interconnected or they are running in parallel in an attempt to create disinformation and confusion among the masses.
My real question though has always been, how the hell did we get here? How did America (land of the free, home of the brave) become Merica (land of the blind, home of the sheep)? I’d like to have Rufus and the time traveling phone booth to bring back our forefathers, show them the world today and let them speak. I want to know what they’d think of the mess we the people have allowed to be made of things.
