Well folks, it’s been a long season filled with great times and massive shows. We have 38 episodes in the bag for Mad World Radio alone. That works out to 130+ hours after you work in the bigger shows that clock in at 7 hours a piece.
For the finale I wanted to do something special, but it didn’t quite work out the way I wanted. We ended up making it work though. I love when we bring live music into the house, I was talking with a friend this morning and I told him that the house seems more at peace and in balance the mornings after we’ve had live music played in the house.
Our guest was local musician Mark Boucher, who I met at our local farmer’s market. Our market brings in a variety of musical entertainment and Mark caught my ear. Mark had a simpler times message and great stripped down kind of sound. The album versions of his music are great too.
We had a great time with Mark and his wife Chantal and can’t wait to have them back next season. If you get the chance to check out Mark playing live, make sure you do and take some friends. He is a great song writer and singer, not to mention a pretty decent guy too. We know how hard they are to find.
