MWR: Peace, Love and Liburdi

In this episode we get to hang out and talk with Carmel Liburdi, I met Carmel a couple of years ago and was blown away by her. At the time, she was 17 and it struck me as interesting that someone her age had so much to say about the world AND that I agreed with what she had to say.

Her song American Pride is still to this day (2 years later) my favorite song of hers. Though she has caught some backlash for it and doesn’t always like to sing it live.

Also hanging out with me was my buddy Ed, Ed’s wife and kids were on an excursion and due to work scheduling he couldn’t go with them. So we offered Ed a chance to come sit in and hang out. I think he was more than pleased to get treated to live music from Carmel.

MUSIC PLAYED

We Killed Vegas – L.A.
Undeadly Medley – Carmel Liburdi
Nonsense – Carmel Liburdi
Cooler Than Suicide – Carmel Liburdi
Let’s Take This Outside – Carmel Liburdi
On The Line – Carmel Liburdi
Disgruntled Bastards – Never Again (clean)
