Well, I didn’t break the camera so there is the first victory from this show. In this episode I speak with aspiring film maker David King. David is currently trying to get the ball rolling and fund his project Pod People: A Documentary About Podcasters.
In the process of talking about him coming on the show, he asked if I would like to be in his documentary and if he could film during the show. I of course being never one to shy away from the spotlight said yes.
I met David a few months ago at the screening of Kevin Smith’s Red State and Q/A in Ann Arbor. David and his wife were seated just behind us and we hit it off thanks to a few well placed off-color jokes. He found out I was in internet radio and was interested to hear what my show was like. Handed him a business card and that was that.
I really like the idea of someone taking the time to document this sub-sect of society. We are the last of the lone gunman on the internet. We exercise our right to free speech and mainstream media is more terrified of us with each passing day. We’re seen as less than journalists, but really we are tethered more in real journalism than those who are considered real journalists.
anyways, listen and laugh along with David and I.
